This publication constitutes the refereed court cases of the eighth foreign convention on Agile techniques in software program Engineering and severe Programming, XP 2007, held in Como, Italy in June 2007.

The 10 revised complete papers and sixteen revised brief papers awarded including four poster papers, 18 adventure papers, 2 study rules and three panel summaries have been rigorously reviewed and chosen from forty five submissions. The papers are geared up in topical sections on handling agile techniques, extending agile methodologies, instructing and introducing agile methodologies, tools and instruments, empirical reports, and technique issue.

This quantity describes advances in either experimental and theoretical remedies within the box of power move approaches which are proper to numerous fields, resembling spectroscopy, laser know-how, phosphors, man made solar power conversion, and photobiology. It provides the foundations and to be had recommendations via particular examples.

Fig. 2. Except of search results with a positively tested Movie class The table at the bottom shows the URLs where reuse candidates have been found and the associated test result. A “0/3” with a green background denotes 3 test cases with 0 failures, a red “0/0” on black background is shown for classes that did not match syntactically and hence did not compile. These would not be shown to the user in a full version of the tool, but are currently kept for evaluation purposes. Like the “traditional” JUnit tool, the green “0/3” is the signal that a unit that has passed all tests and hence is appropriate for the required purpose.

In the next section we briefly review the key ideas of Extreme Programming and introduce a simple example from a well know book in the field. In the section after that we discuss the difficulties involved in promoting software reuse and introduce the notion of Extreme Harvesting, our testdriven technique for finding components on the Internet and other large scale component repositories. Section 4 then explains how Extreme Harvesting might be used to support software reuse in the context of agile development – so called “agile reuse”.

The extended development team communicates via telephone and instant messaging during this time. Towards the end of the iteration, the team performs user/customer acceptance testing. During this process, the deployment team should (ideally) be notified of any story that may have a deployment implication. One scheduled call takes place every Tuesday to give the deployment team an alert as to what may be coming through the process and some indication of timeline. The first formal notification the team has is when the development team submits a work request for a code review as a precursor to deploying into staging.
